Program Description
The Master of Business Administration in Finance (MBAF) program is designed for those who aspire to lead the future of finance, not just follow it. It provides a rigorous foundation in core financial principles, going beyond traditional MBA programs to equip learners with the deep practical expertise and cutting-edge knowledge needed to thrive in today's dynamic financial landscape. Learners will master essential financial skills, including advanced financial modeling, valuation, risk management, and investment strategies, while simultaneously exploring the transformative potential of emerging technologies.
The curriculum delves into the forces reshaping the industry, from artificial intelligence and machine learning to blockchain and decentralized finance, preparing graduates to leverage these innovations. This program emphasizes practical application through case studies and real-world projects, ensuring students gain the experience needed to immediately contribute to their organizations. Graduates will not only understand the latest FinTech developments, such as digital currencies and automated investing, but also possess the strategic thinking and leadership skills to anticipate change, drive innovation, and shape the finance of tomorrow.
Nexford University selected the Master of Business Administration in Finance (MBAF) degree for two primary reasons:
The MBAF addresses the growing demand for finance professionals who can integrate traditional financial principles with emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence, blockchain, and decentralized finance.

* A four-week, one-credit seminar course represents approximately 10 hours of work per week. The time is spent on several types of collaborative learning, including synchronous and asynchronous work. The synchronous sessions are a mix of large-group and small-group breakout sessions facilitated by the course instructor. Sessions include simulations, role plays, and inquiry-based conversations. The synchronous work includes scripted feedback, personal and shared reflections, and individual assignments.
The late work submission policy does not apply to seminar courses.
