UNI 5000 Career Success

Learners enrolled in graduate degree programs must successfully complete the Career Success course before a degree may be conferred.

The Career Success course is a non-credit graduation requirement and is not included in the program requirements. Learners will be granted access to the course after completing the first six courses in their initial program and may complete it at any time thereafter.

Completion of the Career Success course satisfies this requirement for all future degree programs at the same academic level. Learners who subsequently change programs or enroll in another degree program at the same level will not be required to complete the course again, provided it was successfully completed in a prior program.

Degree Conferral Process

Upon completion of all requirements for a degree, the following steps occur:

  1. Final program review. A review of the learner's entire academic record is conducted by the Registrar’s Office to determine successful program completion.

  2. Registrar validation. Coordination between the Registrar’s Office and the Learner Success team to resolve any discrepancies or outstanding graduation requirements.

  3. Conferral. Upon verification that all graduation requirements have been satisfied, the Registrar’s Office confers the applicable certificate or degree and issues an official notice of completion.

  4. Credential issuance. The Registrar’s Office issues an electronic student copy of the transcript following the conferral notice.
