Program Description
The Bachelor of Science in AI for Business (BSAIB) is an undergraduate degree designed to prepare learners to operate at the intersection of business, AI-enabled technologies, and product execution in modern organizations.
The program integrates foundational concepts in Artificial Intelligence, data, automation, and software development with core business disciplines such as strategy, finance, operations, marketing, and product development. Learners develop an understanding of how AI-enabled and data-driven approaches can be applied across business functions to support decision-making, operational efficiency, and organizational effectiveness.
The curriculum emphasizes applied learning, ethical and organizational considerations, and professional communication. Graduates are prepared to contribute in cross-functional, technology-enabled business environments and to continue adapting as technologies and business practices evolve.
Program Outcomes
Integrate core business disciplines, including strategy, finance, operations, and marketing, with AI-enabled and data-driven approaches to analyze business problems and improve organizational effectiveness.
Apply foundational software development, data, and automation concepts to support the integration of AI-enabled capabilities into core business processes and workflows.
Analyze complex datasets using AI models to generate actionable insights to support decision-making related to growth, efficiency, and performance.
Evaluate legal, ethical, security, and organizational considerations associated with embedding AI-enabled and data-intensive technologies across business functions in global and diverse contexts.
Communicate across business and technical domains by translating business objectives, functional requirements, and AI-enabled insights for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Apply customer-centered design, product thinking, and project management principles to develop AI-enabled solution concepts that align user needs, business goals, and technical feasibility.
Demonstrate integrative learning and professional readiness through general education outcomes in written and oral communication, quantitative reasoning, natural and physical sciences, social and behavioral sciences, and the humanities and fine arts.
AIB 4250 AI in Business Capstone Course Outcomes
Synthesize strategic analysis and organizational factors to define a complex business problem and justify the need for technology-driven change.
Design a comprehensive technical solution blueprint, including data architecture and platform components, to address the defined problem.
Analyze project data and model outputs to derive actionable insights and validate the solution's impact and ROI.
Evaluate the ethical, legal, and security risks of the solution and formulate governance strategies to manage change and employee impact.
Apply strategic implementation planning techniques, resource allocation models, and change management principles to execute the project roadmap.
Communicate the complete strategic plan, technical justification, and financial rationale through professional executive-level deliverables.
